This guide explains how to uninstall the ClassHub Classroom Manager and Companion App. 

Uninstall ClassHub Classroom Manager 

Mac 

  • Exit all programs 

  • Open the Application folder  

  • Locate the ClassHub application 

  • Click on the ClassHub icon 

  • Click file and then move to Trash 

  • Empty the contents of Trash 

Windows 10: 

  • Open the Start menu 

  • Click on Settings 

  • Click System on the Settings menu 

  • Select Apps & features from the left pane 

  • Select ClassHub and click the uninstall button that appears 

Chrome: 

  • Sign in to your Google Admin console 

  • From the homepage, click on Device Management 

  • Then click on Chrome Management 

  • Select App Management 

  • Click on ClassHub, User Settings  

  • Remove the configuration file and deselect “Allow installation” and “Force installation”  

  • Be sure all ClassHub-related settings are turned off and then save changes 


Uninstall ClassHub Companion App 

iOS 

  • Go to Settings 

  • General 

  • Device Management  

  • Select the ClassHub Profile and then tap on Remove Management 

Mac 

  • Open terminal 

  • Type: defaults delete com.squirrels.classhubd, then hit enter 

  • Input your password if prompted, hit enter 

  • Then type: launchctl unload /Library/LaunchAgents/com.squirrels.classhub.agent.plist, then hit enter 

  • Restart device 

Windows 10 

  • Open the Start menu 

  • Click on Settings 

  • Click System on the Settings menu 

  • Select Apps & features from the left pane 

  • Select ClassHub and click the uninstall button that appears 

Chrome: 

  • Sign in to your Google Admin console 

  • From the homepage, click on Device Management 

  • Then click on Chrome Management 

  • Select App Management 

  • Click on ClassHub Student Companion (Extension), User Settings 

  • Remove the configuration file and deselect “Allow installation” and “Force installation”  

  • Be sure all ClassHub-related settings are turned off and then save changes 

  • Click on ClassHub Student Viewer, User Settings 

  • Deselect “Allow installation” and “Force installation”  

  • Be sure everything is turned off and then save
